Pete Townshend on Kurt Cobain’s Journals
— I really like this because Pete is a smart fellow and great lyricist. Cobain and Nirvana signified a generation and a sound for a while, but ultimately I don’t think they matter any more than, say, The Eagles do to posterity. Cobain’s life sure was tragic though. I’m not a fan of senseless death. Suicide, moreover, annoys me to no end.
