Please email "blogs [at] sandiegobloggers.com" if you have any suggestions or concerns with how either of the sites are updated and run carrying forward. I would be greatly appreciative of any suggestions, etc.

My hope is to build upon Joe's foundation, and to upgrade things to a more automated environment ensuring that the inevitable busyness of the daily grind doesn't leave the site(s) stale or unvaluable to visitors/users.

WebSanDiego will live on as a promoter of its listserv so that it remains a central place of opportunity and networking for San Diego's technical community. I will focus on expanding the features of websandiego.org so that it can also act as a searchable/browsable directory of members' businesses/offerings so that we all may be able to benefit from one another's capabilities. As I'm sure most have experienced, that when economically feasible, keeping stuff local is generally a much smoother way of getting things done.

the new owner is going to carry on with the site as it is. he bought the listing and all the code as well, not just the domain, so san diego bloggers i believe will carry on as it was.

What impact will the sale have on sandiegobloggers.com? You just did a lot of work restoring it. Do you know the intent the new domain owner will have?
