Beautiful. Some men think women are so complicated. Really, all most want are "memories." Looks like you created a nice one.

The most memorable Valentines I received from my husband was a few years ago when we were pretty broke. He took me to one of those pottery places and we painted a BIG red heart vase with the date on the bottom. In general we're not very artistic and my husband would rather do just about anything but paint a big red vase so it was quite a feat for us. He had a bunch of flowers waiting on the table before we arrived. (Meaning he'd made an effort earlier in the day to go to the grocery, buy a bunch of flowers, take them to the pottery place ahead of time)

On the other hand an ex once bought me a new car for Valentines Day but honestly it doesn't hold a candle to my BIG, red, (maybe even a little gaudy) vase.
