here are so many cool things to do and to see on the web. The internet is mind-bogglingly huge. More information than one human brain could learn in a lifetime. And it grows every day. It's full of everything good and everything bad about humanity. The trick is to find the needles in the haystack.
- Yahoo! is very popular. And good.
- Alta Vista (advanced query) is my first choice for keyword searches.
- HotBot is my second.
- DejaNews indexes usenet, old and new. A vast repository of knowledge. Have a question? Someone has probably already asked it, and gotten answers.
- Excite, Magellan, and Lycos are more to try.
- Looking for someone specific on the net? Try Four11 or the Internet White Pages
- And then there's Netscape and search.com, (affiliated with c|net) who shovel you access to all the major players in the search game.
