I’m moving. Some parts of the English speaking world say “moving house.” What do I watch or listen to when moving house? So far: Moneyball. My Dinner With Andre. Also there’s a little weeping because moving house is emotional and somewhere in my 40s I abandoned stoicism because it’s mostly overrated.

Cultures and religions across the world, have different definitions of adulthood, landmarks, sacraments, traditions—but few acknowledge obtaining and maintaining a moving dolly (e.g. checking the air pressure in the tyres; and filling them) as a signifier of maturity. Pastors, Rabbis, Priests, get to work on that. It’s important.
