MRS. CRAWFORD
St. Rita’s Catholic Church was the scene of the wedding on June 15 of Miss Phyllis Silva, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Arthur Silva of 7002 Skyline Drive, to James Joseph Crawford. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph James Crawford of 4801 Mt. Gaywas Drive. After a wedding trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, the couple will live in San Diego. She is a graduate of Morris High School and he was graduated from Crawford High. She has completed two years at San Diego State and he has completed more than three years at State. He will enter the Army in the immediate future.
There are at least two errors in this announcement from 1968. My mom graduated from Morse High School and my father from Madison High School.
