Let’s not forget Cake’s excellent version of “I Will Survive”! Thanks for the pointers to some great “new” songs.
Yes Christine — but since I already had an “I Will Survive” cover in there I could not justify it. I also have a cover of “War Pigs” by them that did not make the cut for those two discs. I have a pile of others too — including Joss Stone’s “Fell in Love with a Boy,” Tori Amos’ “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and many others.
I listen to a podcast called Coverville which is excellent.
