When I was a teenager a song like Pennsylvania 6-5000 by Glenn Miller was 40 years old. Now that would be something like Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Smells Like Teen Spirit is 30-ish years old. So – Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley & the Comets. Toxic by Britney Spears at 20 years maybe would be like Downtown by Petula Clark. What on earth does Nirvana mean to a kid today?
