Facebook is made of people, and at present Facebook empowers people to share lots of what I would consider garbage. Disturbing or disgusting or alarming items which the amplifying person things are funny or entertaining or informing.
The thing I get most from Facebook is that people’s opinion about what constitutes useful writing and imagery is mostly mediocre.
To me, unless you made it yourself? I am not interested in it.
To that end, the “Hide all from…” menu is invaluable to me.
I think it mostly works, which is at least better than Instagram’s “Not Interested” menu which seems to do very little.
