Today, February 6, 2021 is the centennial of the birth of Jesus “Art” Silva, born in San Diego when it had about 80 thousand people in it. 100 years is not that long, really. He died January 8, 1988, depriving us of his hard work, thoughtfulness, puzzle solving, rubber band guns, bowling talent, poker playing, deep curiosity and love. This photo is not great but it’s from a birthday for him, surrounded by family. Art Silva was not wealthy but gave of his time and talent to others. He is missed. Foursquare check-ins
