Colder than yesterday. But better lefts and rights.

Parked at Belmont Park & walked to the Jetty. Thanksgiving week for San Diego means folks visiting the beach. I’m all for it.

Detail: “Beach Toys” a risograph print currently hanging at @thebrownbuilding in the “POOR MATERIALS” show curated by @sketchbook.definition and open Saturday and Sunday evening this weekend. I’m so proud. As we were driving home from the show and after-show tacos I got a Venmo notification that for the first time ever a stranger paid money in exchange for art I made. 80% of that sale will go back to The Brown Building which is a wellness and community center run by and for BIPOC trans folks. Feeling: gratitude and joy.

New Bot Day! I’m out of practice but every day is a great day to begin afresh. Welcome Getter Robo 1! ゲッターロボ hails from 1974; this special pink variant vinyl is a recent brilliant creation of @maxtoyco

Saw Moulin Rouge in Orange County over the weekend. Delightful! Segerstrom Center for the Arts is darned impressive.

It’s perfectly rational to acquire the same make and model cassette player I used to play my tapes in 1986 in my 1972 Volvo so that I could fully appreciate the ambiance and tales of the Nick Bernal (@burn_all_books) release on @helloamericalit cassette.

Neck Foam. This morning was “messy” as I overheard one surfer say. But I got a “right” so good it might have been the best I ever rode a wave. I stayed on the lip as it did several shape changes. A fine long improvisation.
